Internship @ Manifesta Foundation
The Manifesta Foundation has internship placements available!
The Manifesta Foundation is an international contemporary art Foundation that produces Manifesta, the roving European Biennial of Contemporary Art along with various other events and publications in the field of contemporary art. The head office of the Manifesta Foundation is in the heart Amsterdam.
What is an internship at the Manifesta Foundation?
Join Manifesta Foundation as an intern for fantastic learning experiences for students/graduates. By working within our international team you’ll gain a valuable insight into the structure of organising a biennial. It will also create opportunities to work on interesting projects and learn new practical skills.
Our aim is to attract students or graduates to join us to gain more practical working experience in the field of contemporary art and biennials. We want to offer these opportunities to those people who would benefit most from an internship at Manifesta both in terms of furthering their professional development and who, in return, would have a new and different perspective to bring to our work.
At the Manifesta Foundation we offer internships in a range of fields including communications, arts management, archiving, audience development, arts education and online publishing. The internship placements are for three or more months. We can also arrange placements relating to specific projects for shorter periods.
INTERNSHIP PLACEMENTS - Who can apply?
Our internships are open to students or recent graduates who are related to one of our working departments in the Manifesta Foundation. Every application will be considered equally without regard to age, disability, gender, nationality, race, religion and belief or sexual orientation. You will need to demonstrate potential and show a passion for what we do.
The application process
Please submit your CV and motivation letter to secretariat@manifesta.org, with a specific mentioning for which department you want to work for. If your application is successful, we’ll invite you in for an interview with the team that you could be working with.
